COVID-19 UPDATE - January 2021:
I shall continue offering counselling sessions online via Zoom, or by telephone if preferred, in accordance with government and professional guidance to work at home where possible.
The requirements of social distancing, ventilation, and face coverings remain challenging for resuming face-to-face counselling in a small therapy room, alongside the continued risk to continuity of sessions of either party being unable to attend due further lockdowns, regional restrictions, or self-isolating.
I shall review the situation and updated guidance again in April 2021.
Is it hard to talk to others about what you are experiencing?
Are you looking for help?

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Butler, welcome to this website. As a qualified and accredited counsellor and therapist, I offer a supportive, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore what is going on in your life. You can talk about anything that is troubling you, and how it might be affecting your wellbeing and your relationships with others.
Sharing what’s going on in your life in a comfortable and safe environment where your experience is heard and valued, might help you to make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Our lives can become complicated, events may have unexpected effects on us, feelings can become overwhelming; being listened to by an impartial and professional counsellor can help to give you a fresh perspective.
